Brain Summit:ᅠ Caregiving During the Time of Covid A discussion on the challenges of caregiving during COVID and resources that are available to caregivers. Speakers: Denise Butler, Riverside Center for Excellence in Aging: Lucy Fyfe, Westminster Canterbury on the Chesapeake Bay: Cheairs Graves, Jefferson Area Board for the Aging: Teresa Staten, Dementia Caregiver. Do not register on CHV site. To Register, please call 800.272.3900 for assistance. This conference is free and open to the public, but registration is required. The four sessions will be presented via Zoom. Register individually for each session you want to attend; log-on links will be provided via email following registration. Alzheimer's Association chapters in Virginia, DC, and Maryland, are hosting a Brain Summit in February consisting of four virtual sessions that will address research on Alzheimer's and other dementia. Whether you are a family caregiver, a professional caregiver, a person with a diagnosis of dementia, or an interested member of the general public, you will learn from experts throughout the region on the latest research advancements, diagnosis, and caregiving during COVID restrictions. The sessions are being presented via Zoom on February 10, 12, 19, and 26.
