Second Wind is a community chorus that has enjoyed making music together for over a decade on Capitol Hill. Members have varied backgrounds in music and welcome anyone who loves to sing and wishes to join the chorus.

Due to Covid-19, we are currently taking precautions for in-person rehearsals based on CDC recommendations. In order to sing with Second Wind, singers should be up to date on COVID-19 vaccines and boosters, which will enable us to continue to meet and rediscover the joy of music-making and performance. Masks are not currently required, but may be in the event of a surge.

Membership fees are assessed on a sliding scale at approximately $200 per season, but financial assistance is available to those who need it and no one is denied the chance to sing with the group.

This fall’s theme, “I Could Not Travel Both: Songs of Life and Choice,” includes a musical setting of Robert Frost’s The Road Not Taken.
