The CHV Defending Democracy Group aims to serve as a clearinghouse for information about upcoming events, provide points of contact for CHV members interested in other political groups, brainstorm ways to support local initiatives and, of course, provide a friendly and supportive group to help us get through this together!
Michael Lukens, Executive Director of Amica Center for Immigrant Rights, will join us. He’ll give an update on ICE activities locally and nationwide and what Amica and others are doing to support immigrants. There should also be a discussion of volunteer information and what all of us can do to support this important fight.
