Capitol Hill Village is excited to open our last Plan to Thrive session of the year to all Capitol Hill residents and CHV Members.

We encourage everyone, whether you are new members, prospective members, curious community members, and long-time members to join us to hear about current CHV services and programs and to learn more about charitable donations and legacy gifting across your lifespan as we enter our 20th year of service on the Hill!

Agenda:

During the 3pm-4pm hour, Lizzy Kosin, CHV's Director of Care Services will share information about Capitol Hill Village's services and the planning tools available when you become a CHV member.

During the 4pm-5pm hour, we will be joined by guest speakers Chad Sigmon, CFP® and Skip Thompson of Integrated Wealth Advisors, and Tiffanie Purvis, General Counsel & Senior Philanthropic Advisor for The Greater Washington Community Foundation, for an engaging discussion on Legacy Giving as part of your financial and estate planning. Participants will learn about charitable giving and legacy planning strategies so you can make a meaningful impact for future generations while potentially improving tax efficiency today.

If you are interested in learning about Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs), Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs), gifting appreciated securities, step-up in basis opportunities, estate planning considerations, and both current and generational tax planning strategies, this session is for you!

We welcome you to join us for all or part of the two-hour agenda!
