Meet at Bar Americano (Jefferson Drive SW, located on the lawn between the National Air & Space Museum and the National Gallery of Art) at noon for lunch first and then we'll head over to the museum to watch some of the performances. Stay as long as people want.

The Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History will feature select performances starring and created by middle and high school students for the Museum's 2026 National History Day National Performance Showcase. Join us for these performances that will highlight a range of under-told stories in American history that reflect the 2026 theme of “Revolution, Reaction, Reform in History.” This showcase is free and open to the public.
