Due to the closure of federal buildings, including museums on the Mall, this month we will walk to the National Museum of Women in the Arts, 1250 New York Avenue, NW., an approximately 2-mile walk from the Capitol meeting place. Admission is $13 for DC Residents. In addition to the regular collection, there is a current exhibit of "Women Artists from Antwerp to Amsterdam 1600-1750." (Go to nmwa.org for information about the building and other exhibits.) Visitors will view the galleries on their own. At 1:00pm we will meet in the museum lobby and walk to a nearby restaurant for lunch before returning to Capitol Hill. 

Meet at 10:30 am just inside the US Capitol grounds at the East Capitol Street entrance on 1st Street NE/SE
