Under her leadership, the Trust expanded its impact through restoration and sustainability projects, created groundbreaking educational opportunities, and expanded volunteer programming to help visitors connect with the National Mall's history and purpose—especially critical leading up to the 250th anniversary of American independence in 2026 where the Mall will take Center Stage.
 
For more than 30 years, Catherine provided leadership and demonstrated impact through strategic partnerships, innovative fundraising, and marketing programs for national and local non-profit organizations including Share Our Strength/No Kid Hungry, Townsend Public Affairs, and the DC Public Education Fund. Catherine is founder and director of HoopGirls Capitol Hill, a youth basketball and leadership program for girls.
