Transport yourself to the Piedmont region of the East Coast for an evening of blues, local beers, and traditional barbecue. Musicians Willie Leebel, president of the Archie Edwards Blues and Heritage Foundation, and his colleague Stormi Weaver will talk about and play some Piedmont Blues, a highly syncopated style with intricate finger-picking that combines ragtime, blues, and country dance songs. Other forms of blues including Delta and Chicago styles will be demonstrated and discussed also. Guests will be invited to taste local beers, dig into a country barbecue dinner, and listen to some of the best blues musicians around. Come dressed for a casual evening of fun.
