Tickets are available for the Feb. 18 tour.
In honor of Black History Month, CHV has arranged for a guided tour of Frederick Douglass’s historic house on Cedar Hill in Anacostia. We’ll see both the first and second floors. Come learn how Douglass was the Father of the Civil Rights Movement in the United States and how he has been a source of inspiration and hope for millions. Note: The historic house sits on top of a 51-foot hill, providing picturesque views of the city. It can be reached either by climbing 85 stairs or by taking a ramp.
