What We're Hearing will have our January meeting on the 8th, as the first Wednesday of the month (our usual meeting time) falls on New Year's Day.

Our opening topic for the meeting will be aural skills training: the process of improving hearing skills through structured, repetitive listening exercises. Our discussion will cover software products as well as training techniques, and the different scenarios in which they can be useful. We will allow time after our discussion of aural skills training for general questions and group problem solving for any issues related to hearing.
