Our next book is Daughters of the Dream: Eight Girls from Richmond Who Grew up in the Civil Rights Era, by Tamara Lucas Copeland.
Tamara is a member of the Capitol Hill Village and serves on the Board of Directors, and, professionally and personally, is an advocate for racial justice. She uses this book to describe the experiences of she and seven of her special friends growing up in Richmond, Virginia, then maturing to become professional women.
