Dementia Friends is a global movement created to encourage, support, and train community members to make communities more inclusive for people living with dementia. This initiative teaches people about dementia and its symptoms. Dementia friends are encouraged to take actions that will positively affect the lives of those living with or affected by dementia by offering support in small and large ways. You will leave this training more informed about the disease, ways you can contribute to making your community better for those living with dementia, and steps you can take to raise awareness.
