Join Laura Brower Hagood, executive director of the DC History Center, for dinner. She will discuss some of the initiatives ongoing at the Center, which is located at the Carnegie Library, including the Teach the District program, a professional development initiative for DC teachers who want to incorporate DC history into their classrooms. Laura joined the organization in April 2020, in the early days of the pandemic after a stint as VP of Development at the National Building Museum.
