Matt Frumin has a reputation for knowledge and commitment to the well-being of older DC residents. In addition to serving as Chair of the Board of the five-star low income assisted living/nursing facility Lisner-Louise-Dickson-Hurt Home, he also helped secure the first ever Housing Production Trust Fund for a senior affordable housing project in Ward 3. His interest in public policy extended to the U.S. State Department where, as a Clinton Administration appointee, he focused on human and women’s rights and issues of democracy. In his first year on the DC Council he serves on the Committee on Hospital and Health Equity.
