Priscilla Clapp is a retired United States career diplomat who served as Chief of Mission in Burma from July 1999 to August 2002. She is currently a senior advisor to the U.S Institute of Peace.
Ms. Clapp is a frequent media commentator and the author of numerous publications on Burma and U.S. - Burma policy. She will provide an analysis of the current military junta in Myanmar, the impact on stability in Southeast Asia and beyond, the status of the opposition, and the implications for U.S. interests in the region.
