In this first meeting, Village members will explore the idea of a Capitol Hill NORC (Naturally Occurring Retirement Community). Judy Berman, Director of the Village, who is enthusiastic about the concept, will explore with us what a NORC on the Hill could mean for Village members.

With no official retirement community on the Hill, some of us are asking: can we come up with something almost as good, something that would allow us to continue to age in place in a community we love. One exciting possibility is a NORC, where we could live on one level, have easy access to food at a grocery store steps away, be close to friends, and continue to participate in Village activities and services. Come and help us explore this idea with Judy and other Village members.
