Capitol Hill resident and the founder of Opera Lafayette, Ryan Brown will join us to discuss his
opera company and the exciting upcoming productions of “Opéra-ballet: Rameau’s Io and de La
Garde’s Léandre et Héro.” Ryan often combines dance with Baroque operas, as he will for
Rameau. And you can expect amazing costumes designed by Machine Dazzle (yes, that is his
name).

To fit with Ryan’s busy schedule as he prepares for performances on May 2 and 3, we are
having an unusual Tuesday meeting at 11:30 am. If we all bring some food, we may have enough to feed us all lunch! So, please bring food or drink to share.
